History

The club was formed in 1996 by the local table tennis community.

This was at the request of Lawrence Sheriff School to form a Table Tennis Centre of Excellence in Rugby. It enabled the school to obtain £386,500 in funding to build the local, and regional, "Lawrence Sheriff County Table Tennis Centre" which was to be used as the school gym during school time.

Links to the various agreements and constitutions can be found on the development page. The club became an ETTA PremierClub in 2005.
